SPOTLIGHT COUNTS 2025

Due to the weather, the last deer count has been pushed back by a week and is now set for next Saturday, September 6.

This is our final chance to get the count done!”

Meetings are held at Red Rock Community Center, 114 Red Rock Rd, Red Rock, TX 78602

        Spotlight counts are conducted for TPWD to help estimate deer population in the area. Spotlights will be provided. Please bring binoculars if you have them.

Minimum of 9 volunteers needed for 3 routes each night. Will take approximately 90 minutes.

To volunteer for spotlight counts, please contact an officer and/or just  show up.
